Raynormastic complete many asphalt flooring jobs each year. Very simple and quick to install, a small room can be installed with an asphalt floor in less than hour. An asphalt floor provides a damp proof layer, and are also liked by tilers as they provide a non porous smooth or sand rubbed surface upon which to fix tiles.

Asphalt flooring contains a high percentage of grit so as to ensure that it is hard wearing. It is laid upon an isolating membrane of white staple tissue. The reason for this membrane is to seperate the asphalt floor from any movement in the concrete/quarry tiled/ sub base |

It is laid in a single coat. If required mastic asphalt can be used as a leveller for vey uneven floors. |

Geof polishes the aspalt floor to leave it completely smooth. Although if the asphalt flooring is to be tiled it is often best sand rubbed |
