2006 and Raynormastic install a permaphalt (permanite backed) polymer-modified mastic roof and carpark..

On large mastic asphalt projects Raynormastic use what is known as hot-charge mastic asphalt. It is a service which is provided by Permanite. At Permanites processing plant large quantities of hot asphalt is transferred straight into tanks which sit upon the backs of lorries.These lorries then transport the asphalt straight from Permanites plant to the required destination of the contractor. It is a very quick way of completing large jobs. |

When the asphalt has slightly cooled, Stu tamps the bay. This impresses indentations into the surface of the asphalt to prevent it becoming to slippy in the wet weather. |
