Require the installation of a mastic asphalt floor or mastic asphalt roof. Raynormastic complete hundreds of small asphalt roofs and asphalt floors each year. For small mastic asphalt roofs Raynormastic can arrange everything from skips to scaffold. We also have a wide range of building contacts should you need the requirement of a plasterer or plumber etc.


CONSERVATORY FLOOR
  • Raynormastic also install small contracts, such as conservatory floors
  • Floors are laid with molten asphalt which sets into a smooth rock floor.
  • This floor is the ideal base for carpets, tiles, or if you like the colour black, then its brilliant left just as it is
  • It is also the ideal solution for damp is you do not wish to go to the expense of installing concrete floor, ie in terraced houses it goes over quarry tiles a treat, and is perfect for lining cellars also.



MASTIC ASPHALT ROOF
  • Asphalt is completed in sinc with other roofing trades, ie. mastic asphalt skirting is dressed over by an adjoining tiled roof.
  • To prevent sun damage, white spar chippings are adhered to the asphalt roof. Roofing chippings are always adhered to roofs so they do not get washed away, or swept away by strong winds.
  • The outside detail,known as the drip edge, is finished with a bevelled edge so as to ensure water drips away from the wall, and not down the wall itself.
  • Note that the roof is surrounded with a scaffold walkway, which Raynormastic now puts direct up as part of its roofing package, as raynormastic are always safety conscious.

MASTIC ASPHALT REPAIR
  • Mastic asphalt has a unique quality in that once a roof has been laid, it can be warmed up with a gas gun at a later date, and repaired leaving the roof as good as before.
  • In this picture a guard rail was installed some time after Raynormastic had installed the roof.
  • Raynormastics' qualified tecnicians onsite seal the guard rail by knitting fresh asphalt to the existing roof.



MASTIC ASPHALT TANKING
  • One of raynormastics several city and guilds qualified mastic asphalt spreaders applys the first coat flat to a tanking job.
  • Note that this job is below ground level, and mastic asphalt tanking is the preferred method of damp proofing.
  • Mastic asphalt tanking is an extremely versatile damproofing, it can be used for anything from septic tanks to garden ponds.
    It is also very popular with home owners (especially terraced) to line their cellar walls and help create an extra room.
  • Tanking is perhaps the most tecnical as asphalt gets, there is literally no room for error. Raynormastic with its wealth of mastic asphalt expertise is a firm you can trust and rely upon.


MASTIC ASPHALT BALCONY
  • Mastic asphalt provides an impenetrable water proof membrane, and being molten when it is applied, it can be used to create a water proof seal in the most awkward of places.
  • One of our tecnical experts John (with over 40 years experience and city and guild qualified) is applying the finishing coats of polymer based solar reflective roofing paint.
  • Raynormastic always have fully qualified tecnicians onsite.
