Nottinghamshire County Council Mastic Asphalt Flooring

Each year Raynormastic complete many mastic asphalt floors. This job for Nott's County Council had to be completed over a weekend, to ensure this Stu Raynor decided to us two Mastic Asphalt Mixers. On very large flooring contracts materials can be driven in directly from Permanite Asphalts processing plants via one of Permanites' very large hot charge mobile tankers.

The first job is to unload the materials and set up the asphalt mixer.

Prior to this mastic asphalt installation, the existing asphalt has alwready been removed.

Baz sand rubs the floor with silver sand, this helps break up surface bitumen, and enables the floor tiles to find purchase.
